I am extremely happy to report about the news that has just came out of the Ubisoft camp!
Suda 51’s latest masterpiece for the Nintendo Wii is now heading stateside! Ubisoft has picked up the American rights to publish Suda 51’s Nintendo Wii title "No More Heroes". The game will ship in the US in February 2008 (after the Japanese release date). This is HUGE news for fans of the GameCube/Playstation 2 game Killer 7.

Suda 51 has a cult following in Japan as well as the US. He has been teasing this game with No More Heroes gameplay trailers the last for only a few seconds. If you have played the game Killer 7, you will know that No More Heroes will be a tour-de-force in terms of art & originality. The game revolves around a main character that carries a saber. No More Heroes also packs the trademark Suda 51 blood and gore.
"For Ubisoft, it was a perfect match up. Suda 51 and the developers at Grasshopper Manufacture are extremely talented and creative and what they have developed specifically for the Wii is an incredibly unique game for a mature audience. Ubisoft is bringing the title to the North American market because we believe there is a viable market for mature games on the Wii platform - an audience that has been underserved up to now."
Tony Key, Ubisoft’s marketing VP.
