EA Sport’s Fight Night series has progressed over time to become one of the best boxing franchises ever. The series has slowly been transforming in to the best boxing experience without having to step in a ring. This year EA brings the series to new heights with Fight Night Round 3 as it makes the next-gen leap to the Playstation 3. With 10 months of extra development time over the previously released Xbox 360 version, EA provided slight refinements to the PS3 version, but not enough to make this version better the best.
EA added features for the PS3 version, that really makes this package stand on it’s own.
- Refined Graphical improvements with Boxers and Arenas
- All New First Person Boxing with the “Get in the Ring” mode
- New sweat mechanics to give the boxers more realistic look
- Plastic action figure look is gone on the boxers, ring girls, and trainers
- Slight slowdown during some cutscenes
- Rag Doll Physics have been improved
- Cutman has been reduced in scope on the PS3 version
- Boxers come to the ring with title belts on the PS3 version
- Press Conferences have been removed
