Fight Night Round 3 features some pretty good commentary even though it does get repetitive after a while. The music consists mostly of hip-hop tracks that are played throughout the menus. The sound effects are pretty solid in regards to the punching and the various grunts and groans from the fighters.
THE BOTTOM LINEFight Night Round 3 is by far the second best looking game on the PS3 right behind Resistance. Take the great graphics and mix it up with the innovative HUD-less fighting system and solid boxing engine and the result is an excellent boxing game that is at the top of its class. It’s time to strap on the gloves, and go toe-to-toe with some of the best that boxing has to offer. Let’s hope that next version of Fight Night that EA decides to give us a more solid and structured career mode. EA added enough things to this version of Fight Night for even the 360 owners that own a PS3 should give this game a rent at the most.
