Gamers will have plenty of chances to vent some adrenaline this week as action-packed Games for Windows branded titles “Crysis” from EA Partners and “Kane & Lynch: Dead Men” from Eidos hit retail shelves.

In “Crysis,” the game PC Gamer scored a 98 out of 100 and called a “creative and technological marvel” that is “destined to be a classic,” users can don a powerful “nano suit” to save the world from hostile aliens. “Crysis” also supports cutting-edge DirectX 10 technology, producing incredibly nuanced graphics and setting the bar for PC gaming to come.

However, if saving the world sounds a little altruistic, cinematic crime drama “Kane & Lynch: Dead Men” affords players the opportunity to tear the world apart as a pair of escaped death-row cons. As the icing on the cake, “Kane & Lynch: Dead Men” will support Games for Windows – LIVE for online play, letting up to 8 players compete with free List Play for Silver users and, for Gold members, enhanced matchmaking and online multiplayer achievements.

Additionally, since both games sport the Games for Windows brand, gamers are assured of a user-friendly experience. Games for Windows branded titles offer easier installation, widescreen compatibility, 64 bit support and leverage Windows Vista’s gaming features, ensuring a safe, easy and fun experience.

Both games are rated “M” for mature audiences only and can be purchased for the estimated retail price of $49.99. “Crysis” is available now, and “Kane & Lynch: Dead Men” hits store shelves today. For more information please visit www.ea.com/crysis and www.kaneandlynch.com.
