A seeing-stone, or maybe some hobgoblin spit, unveils a hidden world as Sierra Entertainment launches the official site for The Spiderwick Chronicles video game. The site, which can be found at http://spiderwickgame.com/, immerses gamers into the enchanted world of The Spiderwick Chronicles with screenshots, videos and more.

Visitors can order The Spiderwick Chronicles (Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS, Wii or PC) while exploring the site for information about the console games as well as the mobile phone game from Vivendi Games Mobile.  Users can also visit the community forums, download official Spiderwick wallpapers or AIM icons, and register for The Sierra Insider newsletter for additional news, promotions and video game updates.

Gamers will be plunged deep into a fantasy world full of mystical creatures, joining the Grace children on their quest to discover the secrets of The Spiderwick Chronicles. Based on Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Films’ movie adaptation of the best-selling book series, the video game lets players take on the roles of Jared, Simon and Mallory Grace as they enter the hidden world of the unseen. Players can play as all three Grace siblings, each with unique abilities, along with Thimbletack the Brownie, whose small size allows players to discover the inner passages of the enchanted Spiderwick home. The Spiderwick Chronicles video game will be available in North America on February 7, 2008.
