ValuSoft Signs Distribution Deal With Exent
Posted by cwilson, 130 days ago Feb 28, 2008 23:18

Exent Technologies, a global market leader in enabling the creation of a broadband-based second release window for PC and video games, has signed a distribution agreement with interactive entertainment and productivity software publisher, ValuSoft, a division of THQ Inc.

ValuSoft is releasing more than 100 titles to Exent’s Games-On-Demand customers, encompassing popular, casual and family friendly games, including hit titles such as Let’s Ride! Friends Forever, the Ultimate Mahjongg series, Bratz Babyz, the 18 Wheels of Steel series,  Prison Tycoon and Paws and Claws Pet Vet.  With thousands of titles from casual puzzles to action adventures and first person shooters, companies implementing Exent-powered Games-on-Demand services can meet the demand of a wide variety of consumer demographics.

"Games-on-Demand services offer an attractive value to consumers, allowing users to have unlimited access to play hundreds of games for a minimal monthly fee. Our user base includes hardcore gamers, casual gamers, kids, parents and more." said Zvi Levgoren, CEO, Exent Technologies.  "The addition of ValuSoft titles provides content that’s relevant to important groups of our audience base, allowing our service providers to satisfy all types of users.  This allows the continued expansion of our Games-On-Demand services."

Through its EXEtender-powered digital distribution services, Exent offers licensed, engaging content to end-users, through a variety of service providers. Companies operating Exent-powered services -- enabled through its white-label, turnkey-based offering, or a combination of Exent’s technologies and its content aggregation service -- can easily add new titles to their offerings.  This shortens time-to-market, increase services attractiveness to consumers and cuts down on content costs.

Exent Technologies’ Games-on-Demand services offer a unique chance for publishers and game developers to increase revenues by reaching new demographics, extend titles’ life span, create demand for new titles and overcome limited shelf-space.

"We are glad to make our diverse games catalog available for end-users serviced through Exent-powered Games-on-Demand services," said Doug Clemmer, President of  ValuSoft. "The rapid growth in premium Games-on-Demand services, coupled with the power of the Exent distribution network, makes this an attractive opportunity for us."
